Mimi finally got to hold Mia today! Along with that happy news...as long as things continue to go well Mia will be moved out of ICU tomorrow and onto the floor! That is a great accomplishment in itself. Mia's nurses on the floor have more patients to take care of which means Mimi will most likely not be leaving Mia's side so she can help care for her. Please keep her other two children in your prayers though as this means she will probably not be going home to visit until Mia goes with her! That will be a wonderful day but is probably still a few weeks out!
We all know little Mia is a fighter and she proves this day after day! She has been and is an inspiration to so many. What a wonderful life she has ahead of her!

Such fantastic news! Sad that nurses on the floor have so many more patients though. We'll keep praying for little Mia and fam!
I'm so happy for all especially for mom it had to be hard not being able to hold sweet Mia when ever you want.Keep fighting Mia.
I have been following your story from the beginning. What a miracle that our Heavenly Father has performed in this family's life. I continue to think about and pray for you often. You will be blessed for the sacrifices that have been made. Keep fighting Mia, you are an inspiration for the rest of us to keep going with the "small" challenges we face compared to yours.
